Coconut blancmange is a flagship dessert of the West Indies. This is a flan made with coconut milk and vanilla.

Preparation of coconut blancmange

1. Heat 50cl of milk over low heat with a little sugar in a saucepan
2. Pour the powder from the coconut blancmange preparation into the milk and stir well with a whisk
3. Add the spices of your choice: nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, bitter fine, orange blossom
4. Leave to heat over low heat until the first small boils
5. Put the preparation in a flan mold and leave
6. Leave in the mold at room temperature for 30 minutes
7. Place the mold in the refrigerator for 1 hour then 1 hour in the freezer then 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Tip: for more deliciousness, you can add grated coconut to the preparation.
