Top quality yellow cassava gari 1kg.

gari is a fine-grained semolina obtained from fermented cassava pulp, crushed, sifted and then dried.
gari au gras “pinon” recipe for 4 people.
ingredients:
1kg of pork
2 fresh tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
green chilies
1 onion
salt oil
ginger pieces
small bunch of parsley
1 tsp black pepper
3 or 4 cloves of garlic
chicken broth
500g gari
1 tsp green anise
1/2 l of water
min preparation:
Crush the black pepper, garlic, ginger, half the onion and anise together. Then wash the meat well and season it with the puree obtained. Add salt, broth, bay leaves, bunch of parsley and cook.
while the meat is on the fire, crush the fresh tomato and the peppers separately (don't forget to salt the peppers)
put a pan on the heat and add about 2 tbsp of oil, add the tomato paste and grill for 2 minutes (stir constantly)
then add the fresh tomato and the meat broth then simmer for 6 minutes
pour the gari into the sauce obtained and prepare over low heat (prepare like a paste) you can also remove the sauce altogether before making the mixture.
serve with crushed green pepper and onion (both ingredients are essential in pinon tasting), without forgetting the grilled pork!
