DESCRIPTION: Fermented cassava couscous. It's an excellent alternative to rice or pasta. Its slightly tangy flavor makes it a unique accompaniment to your saucy dishes, vegetables, meat, or fish.
USAGE: Pour 500g of dried attiéké into a bowl, add one cup (400ml) of lukewarm water, and stir gently until completely absorbed. Cover and let stand for 5 to 8 minutes. The attiéké will regain its original volume. If desired, add a knob of butter and cook over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, fluffing with a fork to separate the grains.
