This malted barley beverage shares only the first part of its production—brewing—with beer. Known in many parts of the world simply as malt, rather than beer, it's a very pleasant drink, without acidity or bitterness, closer to a non-acidic cola than a beer. It's delicious when ice-cold, but unfortunately, it's too high in sugar. Alcohol-free.
